Barry O'Callaghan

Barry O'Callaghan has extensive experience in technology management and consultancy, currently serving as the Publishing Applications Team Lead at Mediahuis IRL since April 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing technology platforms for the INM print and publishing division. As the Owner and Founder of Silver Lining IT Solutions since August 2012, Barry provides consultancy to clients in IT, publishing, and PR, focusing on cloud adoption, legacy systems support, and IT strategy development. Prior to these roles, Barry held key positions at Sunday Newspapers from February 1988 to August 2012, including IT and Systems Manager and Systems Administrator, overseeing information systems and network infrastructure. Barry holds a BSc. (Hons) in Computing and Information Technology from Open University and has completed Computing studies at Technological University Dublin.
