Astrid van Wal

Astrid Van Wal currently serves as the Eindredacteur Nieuwsblad at Mediahuis nv, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Astrid worked as a Patient Care Expert and Communications Lead at Byteflies from October 2020 to May 2022, and as a Brand Activator at Edgard & Cooper in 2019. Additional experience includes serving as an English Second Language Teacher at New Western Acacías and working as a student in a mobile nursing team at AZ Klina from 2014 to 2018. Academically, Astrid holds a Master's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from the University of Antwerp and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Linguistics from the same institution, along with a semester abroad in Applied Linguistics at Macquarie University. Astrid also possesses a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from AP Hogeschool Antwerpen and completed a summer course in English Language.
