Gamel James

Gamel James has over 22 years of professional experience in the creative development field. Gamel began their career in 1998 as an Independent Business Owner at Meezyart Design House. In 2011, they worked as a Rich Media Specialist/Flash Developer at both CBS Interactive and Jumpstart Automotive Group. In 2012, they joined Eveo as a Senior Web Application, Full Stack Developer, where they developed mobile websites and high level HTML animations. In 2016, they returned to AKQA as a Senior Creative Developer. From 2018 to 2019, Gamel James worked as a Creative Developer at Fetch and a Senior Creative Developer at MediaJel. In 2020, they became a Sr Frontend Developer at AKQA and a Creative Developer at Self-employed.

Gamel James received their high school diploma from American High in 1994. Gamel then went on to pursue an Associate's degree in Graphic Design from Ohlone College, which they completed in 1999. In 2016 and 2017, they earned a Full Stack Development Certificate in Computer Science from freeCodeCamp. Gamel also holds certifications from Code School and Adobe.
