Kumar Vikram

Kumar Vikram has a strong background in technology and software development, with over 15 years of experience. Kumar is currently working as a Senior Technology Specialist at MediaKind since May 2021. Prior to this, Kumar worked as a Team Lead at Velospear Technologies India Pvt Ltd from May 2020 to April 2021, where they actively participated in the design and development of the Packger for DASH, HLS, CMAF contents, and JIT packager.

Before that, Kumar served as a Team Lead at Evolution Digital from May 2019 to April 2020, where they contributed to the development of the e-VUE Video Pipeline, adding "lmsg" support for both transcoding platforms and Exoplayer-based Android STB.

Earlier in their career, Kumar worked as a System Analyst at LG Soft India from October 2010 to April 2019. Kumar played a pivotal role in the development of the Player for WebOS TV using the Gstreamer Framework and integrated dashdemux and hlsdemux to the TV platform. Kumar also developed an HLS stream generator tool based on ffmpeg.

At the start of their career, Kumar worked as a Senior Engineer at Comviva Technologies Limited from July 2005 to September 2010, where they initially worked on web browser projects for four years before transitioning to working on messaging clients for Windows Mobile.

Kumar Vikram attended Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2000 to 2004, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Telecommunication.
