David Furtney

Customer Support Advocate at MediaLab

David Furtney has worked in the media industry since 2002. David began their career at CNN as a Research Analyst in the Audience Research department. In this role, they supported the Senior Executives, Producers, Finance, Marketing and PR teams with daily ratings analysis. David then became a Programming and News Specialist for the CNN Viewer Communications Management, where they monitored viewer feedback via email and social media platforms, wrote daily feedback summaries for the producers of various shows, and compiled the network-wide Viewer Response Report. In 2015, they had a temporary assignment as a Research Analyst for the CNN Audience Research, providing support to main Research team members by producing and distributing Nielsen ratings analysis reports. David then moved to Shout! Factory in 2016, where they worked on a temporary project for Blu-ray Audio Commentaries. In 2017, they joined MediaLab, Inc. as a Customer Support Advocate, where they were a liaison between MediaLab and its laboratory-based clients.

David Furtney graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Film and Video.
