Deborah Grogan has over 40 years of work experience in the medical field. Deborah began their career in 1976 as a Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT-HEW) Generalist, Certified Lab Assistant (CLA-ASCP), and Phlebotomist at the Medical Center of Central Georgia Laboratory. In 1979, they moved to Doctors Hospital Osteopathic Hospital as a Clinical Laboratory Tech (CLT-HEW), Generalist, and Hematology Quality Control Coordinator. In 1989, Grogan joined Gwinnett Medical Center, where they held three roles: Laboratory Outreach Coordinator, GHS Phlebotomist, and Unit Secretary Mother/Baby. In this role, they managed the system's Laboratory Outreach Program, its associates and system couriers, generated revenue through Outreach sales, authored Client Laboratory education material, and provided hands-on training. Finally, in 2017, Grogan became a Billing and Support Specialist at MediaLab, Inc.
Deborah Grogan attended Central Georgia Technical College from 1976 to 1978, where they studied Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist. In May 1978, they obtained the CLT (HEW) certification from the United States Department of Health, Education and Welfare, and in June 1978, they obtained the CLA (ASCP) certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
