David Ornelas

David Ornelas has a diverse work experience in the fields of localization, web translations, computer servicing, and paralegal work. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Computer Service Technician at UC Santa Barbara, where they were an Apple Certified Technician in charge of servicing apple computers for faculty and students. In 2016, they moved on to become a Web Translations Coordinator at iHerb Inc., where they oversaw the translation process on the Content Management System (CMS) as well as the coordination of translated web content. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as an Assistant Paralegal at Malcolm Cisneros, A Law Corporation, where they were responsible for the creation, accountability, and filing of Chapter 13 Proofs of Claim for California Districts. Most recently, they have been a Senior Localization Project Manager at MediaLocate since 2017, overseeing all aspects and steps of project workflows while maintaining budgets and issuing purchase orders to vendors.

David Ornelas obtained their A.S. in Biology from Orange Coast College between 2011 and 2014. David then attended UC Santa Barbara from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a B.A. in Linguistics. In June 2015, they also obtained an Apple CompTIA Certification from Apple.
