Leona Zacek

Leona Zacek has had a varied work experience. Leona began their career in 2004 as an External Translator, English>German for the European Commission. In 2012, they joined Medialocate USA Inc. as a Vendor Management Coordinator. In 2014, Leona joined MediaLocate as a Vendor Manager. In this role, they coordinated passive and active recruitment, created vendor partnerships, and negotiated rates in accordance with company procedures.

Leona Zacek attended the University of Vienna from 1991 to 1997, where they obtained their Mag. phil. in Language Interpretation and Translation. Leona then attended the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey from 1997 to 1999, where they earned their Master of Arts (MA) in Translation. In September 2022, they obtained a Certificate of Attendance from the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) Academy Q3 2022. Leona also holds an ATA Accreditation for Translation from English into German.
