Andrea Melara de Álvarez has a comprehensive work experience in the field of marketing and communications.

Starting from 2013, Andrea worked as a Communication Assistant at USAID, where they provided support for executing communication strategies and created various communication materials.

In 2014, they joined Imprecen Media Group as a Regional Marketing Coordinator, where they managed and created social media strategies for Central America and Colombia. Andrea also curated content for an entertainment pre-show called "Spotlight" in Latin America.

From 2016 to 2018, Andrea worked as a Marketing Coordinator at ZARE S.A de C.V, where they managed and created digital media campaigns aligned with business goals. Andrea was responsible for designing and developing print, web, video, social, and digital media products.

In 2018, Andrea joined AKQA as an Associate Campaign Manager and later became a Campaign Manager. In these roles, they managed programmatic campaigns on platforms like DV360 and The Trade Desk, ensuring campaign goals were met and optimized. Andrea also had experience in programmatic display media, video, mobile, e-commerce, and social campaigns.

From 2021 to 2022, Andrea worked as a Campaign Manager at Above Zero, LLC, where they created and executed digital account strategies and managed paid media campaigns on various platforms such as Facebook/Instagram, DV360, The Trade Desk, Snapchat, YT, and Google Ads.

In May 2022, Andrea joined Webserv as a Paid Media Specialist. Andrea'sresponsibilities included establishing and developing client relationships, delivering search and paid social campaigns, and analyzing campaign performance for scaling and client retention.

Currently, they are employed at Mediam Group as an Account Manager, starting from June 2023.

Andrea's work experience showcases their expertise in strategic planning, campaign management, client relationship management, and the use of various advertising platforms.

Andrea Melara de Álvarez completed their Licenciatura in Ciencias de la Comunicación from Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado from 2009 to 2014. Andrea further pursued a Posgrado in Gestión de Marketing Digital y Social Media from Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador from 2015 to 2016.

Additionally, Andrea obtained several certifications. In 2023, they earned the EF SET Certificate from EF Standard English Test. In 2019, they gained certifications in Mobile in Display & Video 360 Basics, Optimize your Display & Video 360 campaign, Snapchat Advertising Core Competencies, and Trading Academy Certified - Professional from Google, Snap Inc., and The Trade Desk respectively. In 2018, they obtained the certification in Trueview in Display & Video 360 Basics and Dig into Programmatic from Google. Furthermore, they have obtained multiple certifications from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop), including AI-Powered Performance Ads Certification, Creative Certification Exam, Display & Video 360 Certification Exam, Google Ads - Measurement Certification, Google Ads Apps Certification, Google Ads Display Certification, Google Ads Search Professional Certification, Google Ads Video Certification, Google Analytics Certification, Search Ads 360 Certification Exam, and Google Ads Shopping Certification, all earned in 2023. Lastly, in 2021, they obtained the Campaign Manager Certification Exam from Google, and in 2020, they earned the Amazon Advertising Foundations Certification – United States from Amazon.
