Frank Bloem is an accomplished curator, writer, and perfumer with extensive experience in the arts and scent creation. Currently serving as the Curator of Aromathèque and Manager of the Aroma Lab at Mediamatic, Frank co-curates the Odorama program, exploring the cultural significance of olfaction. In addition to curatorial work, Frank is a writer at Uitgeverij Ten Have and a perfumer and founder of The Snifferoo, specializing in both pleasant and unpleasant scents. A host of Rradio and a Sunday writer for hard//hoofd, Frank also has a background in graphic design, having worked for several companies including Female Economy and Lola Luid!. Frank's engagement in the arts is supported by a BFA in Fine Arts from Gerrit Rietveld Academie and a history of hosting workshops on perfume creation through Airbnb.

Mediamatic
Mediamatic is a centre for new art forms focusing on biology, food, sustainability and society. We organize exhibitions, salons, lectures, workshops and screenings. We develop art and design projects. Also, we have a great vegan restaurant on the water side in Amsterdam and meeting spaces voor 10—200 people groups. Medimatic is a not–for–profit foundation under Dutch law (Culturele AMBI) Founded in 1983, Mediamatic has been closely involved in the exploration of new art forms in the realm of electronic media. Mediamatic Lab, Mediamatic IP and Mediamatic Netles were affiliate organisations that are not active at the moment.
