Salima Tenfiche

Salima Tenfiche is a seasoned academic and film critic currently serving as Maitresse de conference at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle since September 2024. Concurrently, Salima has been a film critic for Mediapart's "L'Esprit critique" since September 2021. Previous positions include post-doctorat at EHESS-Mucem and engagement with Mucem, both from September 2023 to September 2024, and researcher associate at CERILAC, Université Paris Cité, from January 2023 to September 2024. Salima held a teaching-research position at Université de Lorraine from September 2022 to September 2023 and was involved as a doctoral teaching assistant at Université de Paris from September 2016 to November 2022. In the realm of creative projects, Salima contributed to the screenplay of the feature film "Norah et les autres" from 2015 to 2020 and participated in a film festival panel discussion in Béjaïa, Algeria, in September 2019. Salima's educational background includes a doctorate in cinema studies from Université Paris Cité and a post-doctorate at EHESS, complemented by a Master’s in political science from Sciences Po Lille and a literature degree from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
