Josep M. Berengueras

Josep M. Berengueras is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in various sectors, particularly in technology and media. Currently serving as Responsable de Comunicación at Grupo Mediapro since September 2019, Josep oversees communication for innovation, experiences, and new business initiatives, including projects in museums, VR-AR-XR technology, and eSports. Prior to this role, Josep was Subjefe de sección and a lead writer at El Periódico de Catalunya from February 2006 to September 2019, focusing on economic topics and managing supplements on innovation. Additional experience includes collaborating on Catalunya Ràdio's Generació Digital program and contributing to the magazine Theknos. Josep founded and directed Infotaku.com, a top Spanish portal for manga and animation information, from April 2003 to April 2010. Josep holds a degree in Journalism from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
