Loïc Girault began their work experience in 2010 as a freelance full-stack developer for a clothing destock website. In 2012, they interned at Mantano where they worked on the translation of the persistence layer of Mantano Reader from Java to C++. In 2013, they joined LIP6 as a PhD student, where they implemented a DSL for writing dependency rules, developed a refactoring tool, and created a search engine to solve dependency rule violations. Loïc also identified and fixed a typecheck problem in the Java compiler ExtendJ. Since 2017, Loïc has been working as a software engineer at mediarithmics.

Loïc Girault pursued their education in a systematic and focused manner. From 2007 to 2011, they attended Pierre and Marie Curie University where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. Building on this foundation, from 2011 to 2013, they continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science, specifically focusing on Software Science & Technologies.
