Jose Tovar Cruz

Jose Tovar Cruz has extensive work experience in the media and information technology industries. From 2002 to 2012, they worked at Accenture as a Media and Entertainment (M&E) Industry Manager, and from 2012 to 2016, they served as a Media Industry Manager. In 2016, they joined Mediaset España as the Chief Data Officer, and later transitioned to the role of Director of Information Technology in November 2018.

Jose Tovar Cruz completed their undergraduate education at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1994 to 2002, obtaining a degree in Agronomical Engineering with a specialization in Genetics. Jose is currently pursuing a degree in Data Science at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, with an expected completion date in 2025. Additionally, they hold certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Oracle Professional PLSQL/Forms/Reports Developer from Oracle, both obtained in 2002 and 2009, respectively.
