Jim Spanfeller

Jim Spanfeller has extensive experience in the media industry. Jim is the Founder & CEO of The Spanfeller Media Group since October 2009. Prior to that, they worked as a Director at Mediasmith from May 2009. In 2008, they started working as a Director at Ziff Davis Enterprise. From 2006 to 2010, they held the position of Director at Freedom Communications Inc. Before that, they served as the CEO of Forbes.com from January 2001 to September 2009. Jim also worked as the President, Consumer Magazine Division at Ziff Davis from April 1996 to September 2000. Jim Spanfeller has held various publisher roles at Yahoo Internet Life, Inc. Magazine, and Newsweek On Campus throughout their career.

Jim Spanfeller attended Union College from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Jim studied English Literature and Economics during their time at Union College. Prior to attending college, they completed their high school education at John Jay High School, although specific dates are not provided.
