Rachel Markwiese has over 10 years of experience in the marketing and communications industry. Rachel began their career in 2010 as a Student Assistant at Marquette University Alumni Engagement office. In 2013, they took on a Digital Marketing Intern role at BMO Harris Bradley Center. In 2014, Rachel worked as an Assistant Broadcast Negotiator at GroupM, where they analyzed Nielsen ratings, projected ratings for future programming, and confirmed and corrected any invoicing discrepancies. From 2015 to 2017, Rachel held various roles at L2TMedia, including Senior Social Media Specialist, Social Media and Reputation Management Specialist, and SEO/Social Media & Reputation Management Associate. Rachel then joined BCV in 2017 as a Senior Account Executive, Social Media & Analytics and Account Executive, Social Media & Analytics. In 2019, Rachel moved to Real Chemistry (formerly W2O Group) as a Senior Manager, Paid Social, and in 2021 they were promoted to Director, Paid Social, and then Associate Director, Paid Social at Mediasmith.
Rachel Markwiese attended Marquette University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a degree in Advertising and Marketing with a focus in Communication. Prior to that, they attended Whitefish Bay High School from 2006 to 2010.
