Leon Chang possesses extensive experience in CPU architecture and technology leadership across various prominent companies in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as Director of Technology at MediaTek since April 2023, Leon previously held significant roles at Google as CPU Architect and Performance Lead, where major contributions included establishing CPU architecture teams and optimizing CPU performance for mobile processors. At Qualcomm, Leon advanced through the ranks from Sr. Staff Engineer to Sr. Director, overseeing CPU subsystem architecture and power management for mobile SoCs. Earlier roles include leadership positions at companies such as Western Digital and Cavium, with a strong foundation in VLSI design and MIPS-based processor development dating back to tenure at Toshiba and Broadcom. Leon holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree from National Cheng Kung University.
