Shichin Ouyang

ShiChin Ouyang has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as a Director at MediaTek since June 2008, overseeing CPU design, verification, DFT, implementation, and power integrity teams. Previously, as a CPU Program Manager, Ouyang managed and successfully taped out MediaTek’s multi-core Cortex-A15 CPU project, focusing on talent recruitment and project execution. As a CPU Implementation Manager, leadership was provided to deliver the world’s first mass-production >1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 on 28nm. Prior experience includes working at Sun Microsystems from August 1999 to June 2008 as a Senior Technical Lead, directing a timing closure task force on the UltraSparc6 microprocessor project. Ouyang holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from National Tsing Hua University.
