Gaynor Anderson MCIPS has a diverse and extensive work experience. Gaynor currently holds the role of Head of Health & Wellbeing and Overseas Portfolio at Medibank since September 2022. Before that, they served as the Head of Hospital, Medical and Overseas Programs and Performance from April 2021 to October 2022 at the same company. Prior to these positions, they were the Head of Commercial and Provider Networks at Medibank from January 2019 to April 2021.

In 2018, Gaynor took a sabbatical from work to pursue their MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the University of Liverpool. Before that, from July 2014 to July 2018, they served as the Director of Supply Chain and Facilities at National Ambulance LLC, where they were responsible for operational resources and infrastructure for pre-hospital care services.

From April 2011 to July 2014, Gaynor was the National Procurement Programme Manager at Health Benefits Limited in New Zealand. Gaynor played a key role in developing a strategy for migrating the finance, procurement, and supply chain functions of New Zealand's 20 DHBs into shared services and a single ERP system.

Prior to that, from January 2005 to April 2011, they served as the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager at Hawke's Bay District Health Board, overseeing supply chain operations and leading regional commercial initiatives.

Gaynor's earlier work experience includes roles in international shipping for agriculture from February 1999 to March 2005 and as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing and retail environment from 1991 to 1999.

Gaynor Anderson MCIPS has a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Massey University. Gaynor also holds a Master's degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Liverpool. In addition, they have obtained the MCIPS certification from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. Gaynor also has additional certifications in PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner from Prince2 Certification and CIPS from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
