Laura Vitale

Laura Vitale, PhD, PMP has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Laura began their career in 1992 as the Director of Program Management at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where they provided oversight and leadership for process and management improvement initiatives within the product development process. In 2015, they took on an Adjunct Professor role at Saint Louis University. Since 2016, they have held two positions at MediBeacon Inc., first as Vice President of Quality, where they ensured compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations and other international regulations, and then as Senior Director of Quality Systems and Project Management, where they were responsible for leading the overall strategy and execution of product design excellence, manufacturing, distribution, quality, procurement, and business continuity.

Laura Vitale, PhD, PMP earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration/Project Management from Northcentral University between 2011 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering and Policy from Washington University in St. Louis between 1997 and 1999. Laura also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from Eastern Illinois University between 1987 and 1992. Additionally, they obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2011.
