Michael notes that technology has been proven to improve frontline health workers' ability to apply health and nutrition treatment protocols more effectively. He joins Medic for this reason, to strengthen the team and contribute his experience and knowledge in health and nutrition programming through technology. He is passionate about working with other health workers to improve the quality of health services delivered to the marginalized communities globally. Michael brings close to ten years of experience in health and nutrition interventions having worked for different international organizations including World Vision, Catholic Relief Services and International Medical Corps. Recently working as the Program Manager with International Medical Corps, he possesses strong skills in Health System Strengthening, Community Resilience and advocacy.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from University of Eastern Africa, Baraton and is currently completing his Master of Public Health (Kenyatta University) specializing in Epidemiology and Disease Control. Michael spends his free time in adventure and traveling, appreciating and discovering nature.
