Philip Ngari

Philip has worked in the technology sector for over ten years and has a keen interest in technology and its integration for lasting positive transformation. He was in charge of technology development, deployment and management for eHealth and mHealth initiatives for various programs in Sub-Saharan Africa during his previous assignment in one of Africa’s largest non-governmental organizations. He has vast experience in the health sector having worked with different partners and governments. He has taken lead in the implementation of projects and development of sustainable models for adaptation in various programs, including testing of different technologies and integration, development of guidelines for implementing agencies, capacity building of implementing partners, designing technology support structures and building partnerships. He is also a member of the ICT association of Kenya and has participated in the review of the eHealth architecture for GoK health programs.
