Currently serving as a Volunteer General Surgeon with Mission to Heal and Med Global since January 2023, Gary also holds a position as a Medical Consultant for the Medical Board of California, where case reviews focus on ensuring optimal care amid medical-legal inquiries. Gary’s past roles include Medical Director at Octapharma Plasma, Inc. and Acute Care Surgeon at Sharp HealthCare, where emphasis was placed on managing emergency surgery cases. With leadership experience as President of the San Francisco Surgical Society and East Bay Surgical Society, along with significant tenure as an Endocrine Surgeon and Surgical Medical Director at TPMG, Gary combines clinical expertise with business acumen from an MBA obtained at the University of California, Irvine.
