Trapper O'Connell

Trapper O'Connell has an extensive background in sports medicine and orthopedic care, currently serving as the Director of Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Occupational Medicine, and CHW Family Medicine at Medical Center Health System since May 2010. O'Connell also holds the position of Sports Medicine Program Manager and Director of Orthopedics at Pro Care, overseeing physical and occupational therapy programs. Previous experience includes serving as an Athletic Trainer at ECISD and as Head Athletic Trainer at Greenwood ISD, where responsibilities included the care and prevention of athletic injuries as well as administrative duties. Additionally, O'Connell was the Director of Physical Therapy for Dr. Thurston Dean, focusing on post-operative care and sports medicine outreach. O'Connell earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from UTPB and holds a degree from the University of Iowa.
