Amy Heidecker, M.Ed, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong background in mental health and social work. Since June 2019, Amy has been serving at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Previously, Amy worked as a Social Worker at Gulf Coast Health Center, Inc., where responsibilities included conducting psychosocial assessments and assisting clients in finding resources. Earlier experience includes an internship at Compassionate Care Hospice, focusing on patient assessments and service coordination. Amy holds a Master of Education in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Social Work from the same institution (2008-2011). Additional education includes a high school diploma from Nederland High School (2004-2008).
