Jim Hammerand

Jim Hammerand has extensive experience in editorial leadership and journalism within the media industry. Currently serving as managing editor at Medical Design & Outsourcing since 2021, Jim oversees content that drives innovation in the medtech sector. Concurrently, Jim holds the position of managing editor for Mass Device's Medical Design & Outsourcing, part of WTWH Media's Life Sciences portfolio. Prior to these roles, Jim was the editor for Journey magazine at AAA Washington, managed editorial operations at the Puget Sound Business Journal, and contributed to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Jim's foundational experience includes reporting and photography for various local publications and providing content support at ABC News. Jim holds a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Management from the University of Minnesota.
