Payton Grande is currently a Doctor of Medicine Candidate at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Previously, Payton has worked as a Volunteer Teacher at Hope House Memphis, Laboratory Technician at Medical Education & Research Institute, and Trip Leader at Wilderness Adventures. Payton has also held positions such as Maternity Discharge Volunteer at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, COVID-19 Patient Screener at Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic, and Undergraduate Research Assistant at DaCosta Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Lab at Boston College.

The MERI is a nonprofit medical teaching and training facility in Memphis, Tennessee qualified under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The MERI conducts state-of-the-art, hands-on educational courses for physicians, nurses and other medical professionals from across the country and around the world. At the MERI, medical professionals are introduced to the latest innovations in medicine, and have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the most up-to-date medical techniques and technologies. The MERI supports research in all specialties by providing the sponsor with the most effective environment for achieving maximal outcomes for their studies.
