Pete Cava

Director Of It, Platforms And Infrastructure at Medical Guardian

Pete Cava has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Pete co-founded SNiP Telecommunications in 2000 and served as the President and CEO until 2011. During this time, they were responsible for strategic planning, sales, marketing, and executive management. Pete also founded ACA Engineering in 1996, where they served as the President and Chief Engineer until 2000, providing engineering services to the FAA and its primary contractors. Prior to this, Cava worked at Formation, Inc. as the Director of Technical Programs, where they provided architecture and top-level design for embedded control products. Pete also has experience as an Associate Engineer at RCA, where they developed firmware and hardware for the AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense System. In 2015, Cava held the role of Director of Operations at Ancero before becoming the Director of IT, Platforms, and Infrastructure at Medical Guardian.

Pete Cava earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communications from Drexel University, which they attended from 1978 to 1983. In 1993, they enrolled in Delaware County Community College and completed ISO 9000 Internal Auditor Certifications between 1993 and 1997. Prior to that, Pete attended Archbishop Ryan High School from 1974 to 1978.
