Founder And Executive Director at Medical Herstory

Tori Ford is the Founder and Executive Director of Medical Herstory, an international not-for-profit dedicated to eliminating sexism and stigma in health experiences, where Tori has led initiatives in patient advocacy, medical education, and stigma reduction since September 2019. Currently serving as an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, Tori is conducting research on improving patient experiences with gynaecological conditions. Previous experience includes roles as a Researcher at Polygeia during the COVID-19 pandemic, a Training Advisor for Sexpression:UK, an Intern at Safely Health, and a Team Lead for the Office for Sexual Violence Response, Support, and Education at McGill University. Tori's academic background includes a Doctoral degree in Primary Health Care from the University of Oxford and a Master’s from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University focusing on gender and sexuality studies.
