Alina van der Merwe

Alina van der Merwe has extensive work experience in various roles. Alina began their career at Mediclinic in 1994 as a Registered Nurse and later became a Training Specialist. In 2004, they transitioned to MHR, where they held multiple positions, including Operations Manager, Quality Manager, and Call Centre Manager. Alina briefly served as Acting Chief Executive Officer before being appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in 2023.

Between the years 1990 and 1994, Alina van der Merwe attended Otto du Plessis Nursing College. During this period, they completed a Diploma in Nursing with a specialization in General nursing, Midwifery, Psychiatry, and Community Health.
