Ajey Atre

Ajey Atre has a strong background in executive leadership roles, with experience spanning multiple industries. In their most recent role as Chief Executive Officer at Medical Indicators, they oversee the overall strategic direction of the company. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at DermaRite, where they played a crucial role in scaling up the supply chain during the COVID-19 pandemic. At Getinge, Ajey served as the Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, responsible for managing a portfolio of global businesses generating significant revenue. Ajey also held the position of Managing Director at Maquet Cardiothoracic during their tenure at Getinge. At Symmetry Surgical, Ajey served as the President, managing the full profit and loss responsibilities for the company. Before that, they worked as the General Manager at Zimmer, overseeing an innovative technology business in the orthopedic industry. Additionally, they held various leadership positions at DJO and Sterling Commerce, where they demonstrated expertise in operational management, sales, marketing, and business development.

Ajey Atre completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from COEP Technological University in the years 1987 to 1991. Ajey then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1993. Later, they attended Harvard Business School and obtained an MBA in General Management from 1998 to 2000. In 2018 to 2019, Ajey completed the Joint Executive Program on Strategy and Innovation, which was conducted by Harvard Business School, MIT, RWTH Aachen Business School, and IIM-Bangalore. This program awarded him the Getinge Executive Leadership Program degree in Strategy and Innovation.
