Kate Barton

Senior Information Technology Business Analyst at Medical Informatics Engineering

Kate Barton has worked in the field of information technology for several years. Kate started their career at Orthopaedics NorthEast in 1989, where they served as the IT Supervisor and Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the help desk, implementing software, and transitioning to a Windows network. Kate also played a part in establishing one of the country's first Health Information Exchanges (HIEs). In 2005, Kate joined Medical Informatics Engineering, Inc. as an IT Director. Kate provided IT support to multiple medical practices, including handling software and hardware needs, managing cabling projects, and troubleshooting technical issues. Kate also served as a Deployment Consultant and IT Technical Business Analyst.

Kate Barton attended Homestead from 1976 to 1979 but did not earn a degree or specialize in any particular field during that time. Kate later pursued a field of study in Computer Science at IPFW, although the start and end years remain unspecified. Kate then continued their education at Ivy Tech Community College, where they focused on Marketing, again without completing a degree.
