Sai Varma

Sai Varma started working as a Data Scientist at HCL TECH in October 2019. In this role, they cleaned and normalized credit card transaction data and selected relevant features for analysis. Sai also extracted additional features from raw data when necessary. Sai worked in this role until December 2020. Since May 2022, they have been working as a Data Scientist at Medical Informatics Corp. Sai 'sresponsibilities include extracting relevant information from EHR data for creating features in machine learning models. Sai evaluates and compares various machine learning algorithms, such as logistic regression, random forest, and XGBoost, to select the best-performing model. Sai also assesses the models' performance using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score in order to determine the optimal model.

Sai Varma completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from S J B Institute of Technology in Bangalore from 2016 to 2020. Currently, Sai is pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at California State University, Fresno, starting in 2021 and expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Sai Varma obtained additional certifications in various areas such as Power BI Data Modeling with DAX, Power BI Dataflows Essential Training, Power BI Essential Training, and SQL Server Integration Services, all from LinkedIn, in February 2023.
