Michael Gertig

Michael Gertig has worked in various roles in the medical and research fields since 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they were a PhD student at DZNE. In 2011, they were a Research Assistant at Universitätsmedizin Göttingen, where they provided support for research activities, including conducting behavioral experiments on vertebrates. From 2017 to 2019, they were employed at JOTEC GmbH, where they held the roles of Project Manager Clinical Affairs and Clinical Research Associate. Most recently, they have been employed at Medical Magnesium since 2019, where they serve as VP Clinical & Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management Representative, and Regulatory Affairs Manager.

Michael Gertig obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biologie, allgemein from The University of Göttingen in 2007-2010. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Developmental, Neural and Behavioral Biology from The University of Göttingen in 2010-2012. Following this, they achieved their Doctor rer. nat in Systems Neuroscience from The University of Göttingen in 2012-2016. In 2016, they attended mibeg-Institut für Medizin for Clinical Research/Klinische Forschung and also WBS Training AG for Basics in Business Administration/Betriebswirtschaft für nicht-Betriebswirte.
