Mandy Rooney, PhD, serves as the Research Manager at Medical Metrics, Inc. since May 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing new data analysis initiatives and performing statistical analysis on imaging outcomes from clinical trials while providing scientific consulting. Prior to this role, Mandy held the position of Postdoctoral Associate, contributing similarly to consulting support and report development. Mandy gained substantial research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, focusing on skeletal health and microCT image analysis, while also mentoring students and managing a genetic mouse colony. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. During a clinical immersion rotation at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Mandy collaborated on a study related to osteoporosis treatment efficacy.
