Research and Development Engineering Manager at Medical Murray

Brian Walsh began their work experience as a Student Consultant at Computer Systems Support in the College of Engineering from August 2008 to May 2010. In August 2010, they joined Medical Murray as a Biomedical Engineer and worked in this role until July 2014. After that, they were promoted to Senior Biomedical Engineer and worked in this position until December 2015. From December 2015 onwards, Brian became the Research and Development Engineering Manager at Medical Murray, where they are responsible for overseeing day-to-day engineering activities, managing employee workload, and mentoring engineering staff.

Brian Walsh attended the University of Iowa from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Cardiovascular Biomechanics. In addition to their undergraduate education, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute in July 2017. Brian also holds a certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), although the specific date of their certification is unknown.
