Heather Levinson

Heather Levinson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Heather began their career at NorthShore University HealthSystem as an Advanced Imaging Research Intern in 2011. Heather then worked at CIVCO Medical Solutions as a Technical Communications Intern, where they were responsible for converting engineering drafts into finished Instructions for Use (IFU's) and managing the translation process. Heather also briefly participated in the University of Iowa Leadership Academy before joining Baxter Healthcare as a Sr. Engineering Technician in 2012. Currently, they hold a position at Medical Murray, where they have held various roles including Biomedical/R&D Engineer, Business Development Engineer, and currently, Senior Business Development Engineer. In their roles at Medical Murray, Heather has been involved in the development and engineering of disposable medical devices, designing devices using SolidWorks and building prototypes in a laboratory environment. Heather'swork has covered a range of medical disciplines including cardiology, neurology, and urology.

Heather Levinson pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Cardiovascular Biomechanics at the University of Iowa from 2008 to 2012. Following this, from 2015 to 2017, they completed their Master's Degree in Product Design and Development Management at Northwestern University, specializing in the field of Masters of Product Design and Development Management.
