Tanner Hargens

As Vice President of Business Development, Tanner Hargens is responsible for leading and managing their global technical Sales Engineering team. Tanner has been with Medical Murray for over 15 years.

He has held several Leadership roles including General Manager where he spearheaded the 2012 opening and managed operations of our Charlotte, North Carolina, development and manufacturing facility. Tanner has extensive expertise in device design and commercialization focused on cardiovascular, orthopedic, and urology devices. His background also includes vast customer experience with established companies, startups, hospitals, and universities.

Outside of Medical Murray, Tanner served as Chief Technology Officer and Director for SoftJoint, Inc. a startup company developing polyurethane implants to treat osteoarthritis of the hip without bone removal.

Tanner Holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa.
