Dwight McFadden

Dwight McFadden has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Dwight currently serves as the Co-Founder of The Cider Press, a farm-to-table restaurant that emphasizes locally sourced foods and regional hard ciders. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Medical Director at Medical Mutual, where they reviewed cases for medical necessity and quality. Dwight also has experience as a Hospice Physician at Community Hospice, a Medical Director at Health Professionals of Holmes County, and a Physician at Holmes Family Practice Center. Additionally, Dwight has served as a Board Member at Everence, a financial services organization with a focus on integrating finances with faith. Dwight began their career as the Health Commissioner for Holmes County, where they led the Holmes County Health District and worked to improve the health conditions of the community. Prior to this, they served as an Instructor in the Family Medicine Residency Program at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital.

Dwight McFadden's education history is as follows:

From 1988 to 1992, they attended Goshen College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology.

In 1993, they enrolled in Duke University School of Medicine and completed their medical education, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1998.

From 1995 to 1997, they also pursued a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Finally, from 1998 to 2001, Dwight completed the Exempla St. Joseph FP Residency, a Family Medicine Residency Program.
