Vesna Munic Kos

Vesna Munic Kos is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in pharmacology, toxicology, and project leadership. Currently working as a Preclinical Investigator at the Medical Products Agency Läkemedelsverket since April 2024, Vesna previously held the position of Senior Research Fellow and Project Leader at Karolinska Institutet from October 2014 to April 2024, where significant contributions included co-leading the EU Horizon 2020 project GOLIATH and managing multiple research initiatives focused on chemical impacts on health. With a strong background in managing research teams, developing innovative assays, and publishing scientific articles, Vesna has also collaborated on several EU-funded projects and supervised students at various academic levels. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Physiology and Immunobiology and an MSc in Molecular Biology, both from the University of Zagreb.
