Matt Lyden

Matt Lyden has had a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Matt most recently served as a Director at Medical Properties Trust, Inc. starting in May 2017. Prior to that, they were the Chief Operating Officer at US Pain & Spine Institute from July 2016 to May 2017.

From October 2014 to June 2016, Matt held the position of Chief Operating Officer at NextMed, where they oversaw partnerships with physicians and healthcare providers across multiple states to provide mobile lithotripsy and endoscopy services. NextMed was recognized for its industry-leading patient outcomes and accreditations.

Matt also held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Alliance Health - Madill, a joint venture hospital, from June 2012 to November 2013. Earlier in their career, Matt worked as a Healthcare Financial Analyst at CareFusion - MedMined from 2008 to 2010 and as a Medical Staff Coordinator at St. Benedict's Family Medical Center in 2008.

Matt Lyden earned a Bachelor's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Idaho State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2008 to 2010.
