Matt Thomason, CPA

Matt Thomason, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matt currently serves as a Senior Accountant at Medical Properties Trust, Inc., a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to this, Matt gained valuable experience at Deloitte, where they worked from January 2019 to May 2021. During their time at Deloitte, they held various roles including Audit Senior, Audit Senior Assistant, and Audit Assistant. Matt also worked as an After School Worker at Cary Woods Elementary School from August 2016 to May 2018 and interned at Deloitte in January 2018. Matt began their professional career as a Summer Camp Counselor at Birmingham YMCA from May 2015 to December 2016.

Matt Thomason, CPA pursued their higher education from 2014 to 2018 at the Auburn University Harbert College of Business. During this period, they focused on the field of study in Accounting. After completing their education, they obtained their certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy in February 2020.
