Glenn Wells

Glenn Wells is an experienced professional in the fields of medical research and regulatory affairs, currently serving as the Chief Partnerships Officer at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency since November 2021. Prior to this role, Glenn held the position of Deputy Executive Chair and Director of Strategy & Planning at the Medical Research Council from April 2020 to November 2021 and served as Chief Operating Officer at the Oxford Academic Health Science Centre from July 2016 to April 2020. Additionally, Glenn has been a Panel Member for the NIHR i4i initiative since September 2016. Educationally, Glenn earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from UCL and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Applied Molecular Biology from UMIST.
