Raquel Herranz Gómez

Raquel Herranz Gómez is a specialized researcher currently serving as a Visiting PhD Student at the Translational Research Institute Australia, focusing on the Queensland Bladder Cancer Initiative. Since March 2021, Raquel has been a researcher at the Health Research Institute Hospital La Fe, contributing to an accredited research group in Hemostasis, Thrombosis, Arteriosclerosis, and Vascular Biology. Previous experience includes a predoctoral research position at Trinity College Dublin, where studies involved extracellular vesicles in breast cancer, as well as internships at IIS La Fe and the University of Bremen, exploring DNA integrity in bladder cancer patients and drug discovery for diabetes, respectively.
