Vicky Markham is a seasoned expert in climate change, health, and sustainable development with extensive experience in strategic partnerships. Currently serving as a Consultant for the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health, Markham focuses on climate change and health initiatives. As a Mentor for Greenhouse Scholars, Vicky supports underserved communities, fostering educational and professional opportunities for young adults. Previously, as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Americares, Vicky managed initiatives related to health equity and raised over $16 million for various programs. Vicky also founded and led the Center for Environment and Population and played key roles in notable organizations like the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the World Wildlife Fund, contributing significantly to population and environmental programs. Markham holds a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from the University of Maryland.
