Sarah Crass, MPH, CKM has a diverse work experience across multiple organizations. Sarah served as the Chief Of Staff at Medical Teams International, where they were responsible for managing the executive office, strategy management, and annual planning. Prior to that, they worked at World Vision in various roles, including as a Knowledge Management Specialist and Manager, where they developed knowledge management systems and strategies to promote learning and implementation of the organization's global strategy. Sarah also worked at the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Research Specialist, focusing on clinical research and scientific writing. Additionally, they have experience as an Immunohistochemistry Lab Technician at Puget Sound Blood Center.
Sarah Crass, MPH, CKM, has a diverse educational background in healthcare and leadership. Sarah obtained their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Maternal & Child Health/Health Education from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2002. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of South Alabama from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Sciences/Chemistry.
In addition to their academic achievements, Sarah Crass has also obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise. Sarah completed the Executive Leadership program at eCornell in June 2022, acquiring valuable skills in leadership and management. In July 2019, they completed the H.E.A.T. Hostile Environment Awareness Training program offered by WV Corporate Security, further expanding their knowledge in handling challenging situations. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) certification from the KM Institute in May 2018, demonstrating their proficiency in knowledge management.
