Michael Ward

Michael Ward is a highly experienced Commercial Director currently at the Medical Technologies Innovation Facility since February 2023, responsible for commercial operations. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Head of Business Development and Commercial Manager at Nextmune from June 2011 to February 2023, where responsibilities included developing the UK and ROI business and managing national accounts alongside UK sales and marketing. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a Business Manager in Immunotherapy at Vetoquinol from October 2005 to May 2011, focusing on business development in the East Midlands region. Michael holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Management & Leadership from Nottingham Business School and attained a Level 7 qualification in Strategic Management from the Chartered Management Institute, both completed in 2017.
