Ivan Tourtourikov

Ivan Tourtourikov is a dedicated PhD student at the Medical University of Sofia since October 2020 and a Molecular Geneticist at the Independent Medical Diagnostic Laboratory “Genome Center Bulgaria” since July 2016. In this role, Ivan conducts routine molecular diagnostic tests, assists senior staff, analyzes genomic data from various tests, and utilizes specialized software and online genetic databases. Ivan's experience includes two summer internships at the same laboratory in 2014 and 2015. Academically, Ivan holds a Master of Science in Genetics and Genomics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Genetics from the University of Glasgow.
