Teresa Maggard Stephens

Teresa Maggard Stephens currently serves as a Professor and Associate Dean for Academics at the Medical University of South Carolina, a position held since November 2023. Simultaneously, Teresa holds roles as an Advisory Board Member and Committee Chair for the Coalition for Nurse Well-Being, and as an Advisory Board Member focusing on Workforce Experience for the South Carolina Hospital Association, both starting in June and January 2023, respectively. Teresa is the Founder and Consultant for RN P.R.E.P. and also holds the title of Founder and Chief Boat Rocker. Previously, Teresa worked as a Nursing Education Consultant for ATI Nursing Education from July 2020 to March 2024. Academic credentials include a PhD in Nursing and a Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, as well as an MSN with a concentration in Education from King University and a BSN from East Tennessee State University.
