Dr. Joshua Trock

Dr. Joshua Trock began their work experience as a Sales Associate at General Nutrition Centers, Inc in 2003. Later, in 2006, they joined Amistad Homecare and served as a Community Liaison and then as a Private Insurance Billing Manager from 2008 to 2011. Dr. Joshua also worked as a Physical Therapist at Amistad Homecare from 2011 to 2012, where their responsibilities included evaluating and treating various conditions. Dr. Joshua then became the Director of Rehab and Head Lymphedema Therapist at Amistad Homecare from 2012 to 2021. Currently, since 2021, Dr. Trock is working at the Medical Vein Clinic as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the Director of Clinical Operations.

Dr. Joshua Trock completed their Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Science at UT Health San Antonio from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, Dr. Trock pursued Pre-Medicine studies at the University of North Florida in 2000-2001.

Dr. Joshua has obtained several certifications, including Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS in 2023, Sonographic Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) from ARDMS in 2022, CLT-LANA from LANA-Lymphology Association of North America in 2021, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer from CrossFit, Inc. in 2020, Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA) from Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy in 2016, Certified Master Fitter from medi USA in 2014, Certified Edema Wound Specialist from Norton School Of Lymphatic in 2014, Certified Lymphedema Therapist from Klose Training & Consulting in 2011, and JOBST Lymphedema Garments Certified Fitter from BSN medical in 2011.
